This Rose Garden Runner features the Market Street fabric Collection by Heather Peterson of Ankas Treasures for Riley Blake Designs. This is a traditionally pieced pattern using folded corners and no Y-seams, suitable for a confident beginner to practice.FABRIC: Heather Peterson says the following about the Market Street fabric line, My fabric collections are always full of whats catching my eye at that moment in time. I started working on this line in the fall when here in Minnesota all the colors are saturated and washed by the sun. The lakes turn to their bluest hues making the golds, oranges, and reds of the nature around them even more vibrant and providing the inspiration for this color palette. With these colors in my mind, I began to think about what I wanted the prints to look like. I kept being drawn to the images I had collected from street markets with all of their pretty patterns and colors. Street markets have everything from geometric prints to repeating patterns, and of course all the florals. An image of a very geometric tile floor inspired the tile print. An image of a beautiful beaded curtain became the rainbow stripe. A few cell phone pictures of some flowers and leaves were pieced together and became the main print. Soon the prints from the collection began to take shape and Market Street was born.. Now you get to bring her vision to completion by completing your own quilt using this beautiful fabric collection.100% cotton fabric. Machine wash cold with similar colors, do not dry clean, do not use bleach, tumble dry low, remove promptly, use warm iron.Fabrics made in Korea.The kit contains a purchased copy of the Mod Blossoms pattern/instructions designed by Heather Peterson of Ankas Treasures along with enough fabric to complete the Throw size quilt as shown in picture 1. This kit contains all fabrics required for top and edge binding. BACKING AND BATTING WILL NEED TO BE PURCHASED SEPARATELY.The overall finished size of this runner is about 29 x 62.75.Fabrics in this kit are from the Market Street fabric collection designed by by Heather Peterson of Ankas Treasures for Riley Blake Designs. There are no substituted fabrics!Skill Level: Confident Beginner/Intermediate this kit is a good one for a Confident Beginner who are willing to learn the skills needed to advance to Intermediate level.1 7/8 yards of fabric is recommended for the backing assuming a 44/45 width along with a 33 x 67 piece of batting. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit.A little over 4 yards of fabric is included in the kit along with the pattern.
