A beautiful still life oil painting on canvas of flowers in a green vase. Thick, confident and powerful impasto strokes. It is signed by the artist “V. Simonin” and most likely dates back to the mid 19th century. Lovely hues of reds, pinks and greens. In good vintage condition for its age (despite some paint loss on the surrounding edges of the canvas). A piece of real character.
