Description Perfect for anyone who likes to walk in the cold, reject fast fashion but still be warm and stylish, this soft and cosy hand woven scarf is inspired by the rugged coastline here in north Cornwall. I have spun hand dyed merino and silk and have woven it along with a hand spun blend of camel down and silk fibres on my Saori loom using a black cotton warp. To add to the texture I have woven in inclusions of some of my other handspun art yarns, unspun silk, silk ribbon and all kinds of other loveliness. I have hand finished the scarf with hemstitch and twisted tassels. This hand woven scarf is artisan slow cloth with a timeless design, you won’t need another scarf. Due to the materials and techniques I have used, this scarf is one of a kind and unrepeatable. I may weave other scarves inspired by the coastline but they would each be different. Coastline measures 27cm x 172cm fringe. Please look after this unique scarf. Cool, gentle hand wash only. After washing, squeeze, don’t wring, roll the scarf up in a towel to get the extra moisture out and then layout to dry.
